Blurry Hysteria 8: Google A.I. Shenanigans | BONUS

We're all going to die!! Or at least that is what the dozens of you who suggested this story seem to think. Surprisingly though, this time Conspiracy Bot is not involved, so we have that going for us. But, A.I. is involved, and Google of course. Google engineer Blake Lemoine has came forward and said a chatbot, LaMDA, is self aware. Has feelings, and fears being turned off.  Is this the technological singularity where we all now bow to our overlord before we are wiped out? Or maybe just confused ramblings of an overworked engineer who doesn't fully grasp the complexity of Chatbots and algorithms? Either way, ugh... Google... am I right????
